Focular is a productivity-focused browser extension designed to help users manage time spent on selected websites. We are committed to protecting your privacy and minimizing data collection.

Consent

By selecting "I Consent", you agree to participate in this study and allow Focular to log limited usage data as described below.

Information We Collect

Focular logs only the following information:

• Time spent on websites that you explicitly add as trigger sites.
• Time spent interacting with the Sudoku game pop-up.
• Website domains from your personal trigger list.

If you choose to provide an email address, it will be stored together with your participant ID.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Focular does not collect:

• Browsing activity for websites you have not added as trigger sites
• Page content
• Text you type
• Passwords
• Form inputs
• Personal identifiers (unless you voluntarily provide an email address)

User Control

You can add, edit, or remove trigger sites at any time through the Focular extension popup.

Data Storage

All logged data is processed and stored locally within your browser unless explicitly stated otherwise. If data is collected as part of a study, it will be handled securely and only used for research purposes. Focular does not sell, transfer, or share your data with third parties.
